AI is steadily transforming the eCommerce landscape, reshaping how businesses operate and how consumers shop. From personalized recommendations and dynamic pricing to smarter inventory management and automated support, AI is becoming a core driver of innovation in online retail.
Imagine taking it a step further—using AI to enhance the shopping experience by generating tailored product recommendations from just a store link. As AI continues to advance, so do the possibilities for delivering more intuitive, efficient, and engaging eCommerce experiences.
Funnel Fixers is a free AI-powered tool by Fuel Made that provides conversion rate optimization (CRO) recommendations for Shopify stores. Users simply paste a product page link to get actionable suggestions.

Moodboard & Concept Development
The design direction began with an exploration of modern, tech-forward visuals that reflect AI-driven solutions while remaining accessible to Shopify merchants. The moodboard focused on fresh, vibrant color palettes, clean typography, and playful UI elements to balance credibility with approachability. The goal was to position Funnel Fixers as both innovative and trustworthy.

Stylescapes
Before finalizing the brand system, I developed a series of stylescapes—mini mockups showcasing potential applications of the visual direction. These included product interface snippets, UI components, marketing graphics, and typography in use. This step helped evaluate how the brand would perform in real-world contexts and ensured visual cohesion before scaling it further.

Brand Guidelines
Based on the stylescape explorations, I crafted a full brand system that includes:
Color Palette
A mix of cool tech hues (purples, greens, and neutrals) that support clarity and visual hierarchy, while ensuring WCAG accessibility.
Typography
A rounded, humanist sans-serif typeface to convey simplicity and professionalism.
Core Elements
UI kits, icons, decorative elements, and data visualizations tailored to Funnel Fixers' CRO insights.
Text & Data Hierarchy
Designed to guide users through metrics and recommendations with clarity and emphasis.
The brand guidelines were built to be scalable across digital touchpoints—ensuring consistency from product UI to marketing assets.

Web App Design
Using the established brand system, I designed the interface. The homepage emphasizes simplicity with a single clear action—entering a store URL. The supporting UI elements and layout were designed to deliver trust and immediate value, while remaining visually lightweight and modern.

Storefront
The core functionality centers around a simple, frictionless three-step flow that guides users from input to insight:
1. Store Link Input
Users begin by entering their Shopify store’s product page URL. This serves as the starting point for generating AI-powered CRO recommendations.
2. Email Submission
After submitting the link, users are prompted to enter their email address. This ensures the report can be delivered directly to their inbox—even if they navigate away from the site.
3. Confirmation & Delivery
A confirmation screen lets users know their report is being generated. Within about 10 minutes, a personalized link to their CRO results is emailed to them.
Each step was carefully designed to reduce friction and maintain user trust—emphasizing a clean layout, minimal input requirements, and reassuring messaging. The interface adapts fluidly across devices, providing a consistent and seamless experience whether viewed on desktop or mobile.
This design approach ensures that the value of the tool is delivered quickly, while reinforcing the brand’s credibility and ease of use.



Reports Page
The final step in the user journey is the Reports Page, where users receive curated AI-generated recommendations tailored to their specific product page.
Each recommendation is designed to be practical and easy to understand—helping merchants quickly identify opportunities to improve their product pages and boost conversion rates.
To deepen the value of the experience, the bottom section includes a call-to-action for a free consultation with human CRO experts. This bridges the gap between automated insights and expert implementation, allowing users to validate and refine the AI-generated suggestions, receive tailored strategies aligned with their business goals, and get hands-on support in applying those recommendations effectively.

Email Campaign Design
I designed a couple of email templates to extend the Funnel Fixers experience: an announcement email to introduce the tool and invite users to “Get Recommendations,” a follow-up reminder for anyone who hasn’t yet viewed their AI insights, and a results email that delivers the personalized report with a prominent “View Report” button and an option to book a free CRO consultation. Each message uses Funnel Fixers’ color palette, typography, and iconography to feel like a seamless continuation of the web app and guide recipients toward action.

Social Media Marketing
I developed a suite of social media assets that bring Funnel Fixers’ brand to life across channels—everything from Instagram carousels and LinkedIn banners to Twitter graphics and Facebook ads. Each piece leverages our core palette, typography, and iconography to maintain visual consistency and reinforce the AI-driven CRO message. By tailoring layouts and messaging for each platform’s best practices, these assets drive engagement, build credibility, and guide prospects back to the app with clear, on-brand CTAs.
